Books of Hope’s mission is to develop the next generation of young
authors. The program gives young people, ages 13-23, the opportunity to write
poetry and prose, publicly perform, and publish books. Since 1999 over 200 young
writers have published 125 books and anthologies. Books of Hope meets Monday
nights, 6:30-9:30 pm at the Mystic Learning Center, 530 Mystic Ave, Somerville,
MA. Youth writers from Somerville and surrounding communities are welcome to
attend. Contact Soul Brown at 617-640-0252 or griothouse@aol.com for more
